Tip: in the app, the side menu has Report a problem, which fills in your app version and device for you.

Adding your email account

Open the side menu, then Settings, then Add account. Choose your provider, or Other mail server (IMAP) for your own domain.

Common problems

It keeps spinning, or says it can't connect

Check the server name and port with your email host. If your host doesn't offer encryption on that port, ask them to turn on SSL/TLS. In Settings, the account's Show connection details lists each step OhmMail tried, without your password.

It says my password is wrong, but it works on the web

Gmail, iCloud and Yahoo need an app password instead of your normal one when two-step sign-in is on. See the table above.

A real email went to Spam

Open it and tap Not spam. It moves back to your inbox, and that sender is trusted from then on.

The AI features don't appear

They need OhmMail Pro, a device with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later, or an iPad or Mac with an M-series chip), and Apple Intelligence turned on in the Settings app. Then turn them on in OhmMail under Settings, Smart features.

How do I cancel my subscription or trial?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then OhmMail. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restoring a purchase on a new device

Sign in with the same Apple Account, then open Settings, Subscription, and tap Restore Purchases.
